Jamie Neill Badminton -

Here are some comments from those who have been involved with Jamie...

"My boys have been receiving coaching from Jamie for the last 3 years and it has made a massive difference to both of them in terms of their badminton skills plus their attitudes & maturity. They started in 2012 & played initially just once per week. However, this quickly grew to 3-4 times per week as they loved the clubs, the friends & the encouragement they received from the coaches. Jamie really believed in them & has a great ability to connect to the kids & provide guidance on how to manage themselves emotionally both on & off the court. He is a role models to the boys & I know this is the same for a significant number of young players in Lanarkshire & beyond. The boys have really thrived under their guidance and as a result, have been fortunate enough to progress from club level to regional and national level.

"Jamie brings the same things to badminton as a player & coach: a genuine love & enjoyment of the sport, tremendous enthusiasm & no lack of talent. Perhaps the biggest attributes he has are his ability & personality to communicate with others & the experience to drive them to achieve their goals. He has a wealth of knowledge for those willing to listen."

"My son Peter is very fortunate to have been coached by Jamie for 3 years in squad training & private lessons. Jamie has excellent skills & a personality that easily makes friends with the young players. He is devoted to badminton & gives up a huge amount of time to encourage the young players to advance in the sport & enjoy a healthy activity at such a high standard of coaching."

"Jamie's whole speech about becoming a champion was very good - informative & funny. The kids were enthralled listening to him & were really motivated to try their best at their sports day. Can't praise Jamie enough."

"I took private lessons with Jamie for over 1 year before recently moving abroad. I contacted him for coaching as he came highly recommended. Jamie was immediately
welcoming & made me feel at ease. With his knowledge of the sport & ablity, it was evident I had made the right choice of coach. Within weeks I was a more competent
player & had also gained a good friend. Since my move, I now play at a higher level using Jamie's methods, & he is always there to answer any of my badminton queries."
